Exclusive Services
Encompass Counseling and Mental Health Services, LLC provides comprehensive behavioral health, psychiatric, testing, and support services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and veterans. Our goal is to provide coordinated, compassionate care that addresses emotional, behavioral, academic, and practical needs.

Our services include individual counseling, child and adolescent counseling, adult counseling, couples and family counseling, group therapy, grief counseling, anger management, trauma-focused support, anxiety and depression treatment, behavioral interventions, and court-related counseling when appropriate. We also provide psychiatric services and medication management for established counseling clients.

Encompass offers psychological and educational testing services, including ADHD testing, autism testing, academic testing, learning and achievement assessments, and computerized attention testing. We also provide biofeedback therapy to help clients improve stress management, relaxation, emotional regulation, focus, and awareness of physiological responses.

Our team also assists clients through case management and care coordination, including referrals, appointment coordination, community resource navigation, and collaboration with healthcare providers, schools, and other support systems. For veterans, we offer non-clinical veteran support services, including benefits navigation, case management, housing and employment resources, transportation assistance, community referrals, and connections to appropriate veteran service organizations.

Together, our services are designed to support the whole person—mental health, emotional wellness, academic functioning, medication needs, family relationships, and access to community resources—through one coordinated system of care.
Professional Counseling

Encompass Counseling and Mental Health Services offers counseling for children ages 4 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our clinicians work with clients facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, life changes, and emotional or behavioral challenges.

Individual counseling provides a private space to explore concerns, develop coping skills, and work toward personal goals. Child and adolescent counseling uses approaches suited to each young person’s age and needs, with family involvement when appropriate. Couples and family counseling helps people improve communication, work through conflict, and strengthen relationships.

We also offer group counseling focused on shared experiences and skills, including grief, teen empowerment, women’s support, and anger management. For clients referred through the courts, our team can discuss the referral requirements and whether Encompass is an appropriate fit.

Our staff works together to help each client receive thoughtful, coordinated care.
Medication Management

Medication management at Encompass Counseling and Mental Health Services helps clients understand their treatment options and receive ongoing support when psychiatric medication is appropriate. Our psychiatrist, Dr. Nurul Hoque, evaluates symptoms and health history, discusses potential benefits and side effects, and prescribes medication when clinically indicated.

During follow-up visits, Dr. Hoque monitors how well a medication is working, addresses concerns, and adjusts the treatment plan as needed. He works with our counseling and nursing team to coordinate care. Medication management is available only to clients who are participating in counseling services at Encompass Counseling.
Biofeedback Therapy

Biofeedback can be a useful adjunct to mental health treatment because it helps clients become more aware of how their body responds to stress and learn skills to regulate those responses.
-
Reduces stress and physical tension by teaching clients to recognize and control signs such as rapid breathing, muscle tension, and increased heart rate.
-
Supports anxiety management by helping clients practice relaxation and self-regulation techniques in real time.
-
Improves emotional regulation by increasing awareness of the connection between emotions and physiological reactions.
-
May reduce panic symptoms by teaching clients how to slow breathing and calm their nervous system.
-
Promotes relaxation through breathing exercises, muscle relaxation, and heart-rate regulation.
-
May improve sleep when stress, tension, or hyperarousal are contributing to difficulty falling or staying asleep.
-
Helps with trauma-related symptoms by supporting grounding and regulation of heightened arousal, when used appropriately within trauma-informed care.
-
Can improve focus and attention for some clients by strengthening awareness and self-regulation skills.
-
May help with anger management by allowing clients to identify physical signs of escalation before emotions become overwhelming.
-
Can reduce stress-related physical complaints, such as tension headaches, jaw clenching, or muscle tightness.
Academic Testing

Encompass Counseling and Mental Health Services offers academic testing to help identify a student’s learning strengths and areas where additional support may be helpful. Testing may explore skills such as reading, writing, mathematics, and other abilities related to school performance.

Our team reviews the student’s history and current concerns, selects appropriate assessments, and explains the results and recommendations to the family. Findings can help parents and educators discuss learning strategies, school supports, or whether additional evaluation is needed. Testing is tailored to the student’s needs and the specific questions being asked.
